Where can I buy ready-made wild food?

I’ve bored the tits off everyone and their dog with my incessant ‘eat more wild food’ and ‘get out and forage’ ramblings (ha! forage ramblings, that’s funny).

But what happens if you’re far too busy saving the world or just plain unsure about what wild foods you might like?

Help is at hand with the growing selection of wild foods made with love for you to buy on the world wide web.

Here are a few of my favourites!

Heavenly Hedgerows – delicious range of wild food preserves and drinks. The sloe and crab apple jelly is my absolute fave!

Forage Fine Foods – a very fine selection of wild food rubs, blends, sauces, ketchup, preserves and all other manner of wonderment,  The lovely Liz is a mighty talented woman when it comes to creating wild food to inspire and delight. I highly recommend everything. Everything she makes.

Wild Pickings – another lovely lady, Jade, from Wales. Jade sells beautiful syrups, vinegars and the best damn sloe chocolate truffles this side of the everything.

The Rosehip Co – all things Rosehip including jam, coulis and tea.

Wild & Scottish – purveyors of Sea Buckthorn Juice. Absolutely my favourite wild berry!

The Foragers – a couple of cool dudes that have their own eaterie darn sarf and sell syrups, wild food infused salts and booze on their webshop.

Just Ingredients – offer a very wide selection of dried wild herbs for making teas and tinctures!

Charlotte Flowers Chocolate – Pine, Elderflower and Meadowsweet are just some of the flavours of chocolate available.  Beautiful, award-winning chocolates!

Whilst I love to forage and like making things for myself, I’m not precious about tapping in to other people’s love and obvious talent when it comes to wild food. I encourage everyone (and their dog) to support these businesses and ones like them. Having sampled delights from each of them, the care and attention that goes in to these products is second to none.

Try something wild today!

p.s. do you know of any other online wild food retailers I’ve missed? Please drop me a line to let me know!

Hi great article thanks. You may want to add my products to the list then Emma.
I have a site that sells rosehip and other natural products both at local markets and now online.

Thanks, Ralph. I’ll add you to the list and check out your site later on. Trying to do twenty five things during baby nap time 🙂

        Many thanks, that’s most appreciated.
Congrats on the birth of your baby Emma.
Oh yes, baby nap time, I remember it well lol. If you’re lucky and you’ve got a ‘sleeper’ then you can get all sorts of stuff done. If not like our youngest, who never slept during daytime, then it’s a tough one.
All the best to you and yours!
